Town Hall 8: Are you ready for it?

Right know I’m almost near reaching my town hall to level 8 and I’m so excited to upgrade my second Clash of clan account after 3 long months of waiting and you might be in the same case as me but to give you an idea, since this is my second account, that reaching your town hall to level 8 is really a different league to play since your enemies now is more harder to defeat, more harder to get loot and so on that's why there are question that you need ask yourself and I'm here to help you out with that, So here are my six guide lines before upgrading

1. Are your defenders all max out?

The reason why this is my number 1 question is because upgrading to town hall 8 would give you the capability to upgrade twice almost all your defenders like the mortars, archer, cannons it’s going to be hard to save money this time remember that, since the possibility of higher level enemy attacking you is high! That’s why you should make sure your level 7 town hall is max before you upgrade! I will be discussing in the next point a better explanation why money get tighter or hard to earn.

LOL, By the way I really want to specify this one because many clashers do not consider this as a defense because it takes forever to build well remember this all PRO's in COC never neglected this

2. Are your walls that strong enough to go to level 8?

Alright so why it’s hard to save money let’s say you are going to upgrade for a level 6 wizard tower that would cost more than 2 million if you have a weak walls it’s going to be easy to steal 300 thousand gold from you since the estimate loot of 2 million is around 300 thousand gold, don't need calculation to know how much loot will be taken from 2 million, hey that's a big loot 300 thousand gold is not a joke right? It's going to take you two raid to get that so you don't want your enemy to steal that money right? well unless you have a strategy of one day raiding loot its okay but I tell you not all the time you can do that there's a time that you will really leave gold that's why don't be stupid going to level 8 without your walls at least level 6

3. Are your traps can pop a pack of enemies?

One of the most neglected thing are the traps. especially if you are raided by a pack of giants bombs are like nothing to them but I tell you it’s really important to upgrade them because if you will upgrade it in the future you will have a problem with time since upgrading to level 4 bomb can delay your upgrade or not spend your money which in the end you will regret or you will cancel the trap upgrading which you will go back again upgrading

4. Don't make your elixir a trophy man!

Don't make it like a trophy that they can steal it anytime make sure you use your elixir upgrading even the goblins because it’s hard to loot in town hall level 8 because most of you enemies there put the mortars and wizards in good position and guards there storage and collectors well so in the end you will have a problem upgrading your troops if you don't maximize your elixir loots. Another good tip? Make sure that it’s only a day or two day difference upgrading in laboratory so you can say that you have maximize it

5. Max your storage!

Don't settle for level 10 storage you only get two million storage capability if you do that. If you reach level 8 you will think you need another storage to build making you have 3 storage of gold and elixir yes the money and elixir are well diversified but making your defense a weak since the space gets bigger for your defense to be close especially if you’re like me who builds walls each defense. Do you have an idea that you only need elixir storage in level 7 and two gold storage in while you only need 2 elixir and gold storage in level 8? Making only two will make your defenses strong since there close to each other.

6. Plan ahead!

This is one of the best thing to do while waiting in maxing out your current base. In my next blog I will be talking about my plan in town hall 8

Town Hall 7: What to first upgrade?

Well everyone knows that you should upgrade all your defense but for me there are always strategy of what to upgrade first and what’s next, here I’m going to tell you my strategy of what to upgrade.

but before that this is to remind other people that this is strategy is design in level town hall 7 this might not work if your town hall is lower or higher :)

1. Mortars!

Yeah that is correct mortars, many clasher doesn't care about mortars cause there damage looks low but the truth is they will help you the most during war because they can clean a pack of archers or goblins, these two are very dangerous if mortars are not max out.

2. Wizard towers!

Don't judge a wizard by its defense like the mortar! By now you can already realize that my first strategy is to upgrade all the AOL first, AOL is the best defense because upgrading them makes your enemy think twice attacking you. Upgrading your wizard tower will help your defense especially against Giants since there life is really big you need an AOL damage.

3. Archer Towers!

You have to upgrade this because it can attack both ground and flying units upgrading this is the first thing your enemy can see in your base, having a max archer they know that archers and barbs are just a two hits to them, but still depending on your archers level.

4. Tesla!

Upgrading hidden tesla might sound boring because it takes forever to build it right? but again it’s important to next upgrade your land and flying defender, well that is my second strategy. plus hidden tesla is really a good game changer I remember my first COC where in I literally studied where to best put my hidden tesla to surprise my enemy's and it really did especially Giants there are some cases where in they don't cooperate and go different ways that's already a win signal (but still depending on your base setup)

5. Air defense!

This really makes your enemy think if your air defense is max, especially if your enemy has only less army because he just finish another raid he/she think twice if he/she will attack you but since your air defense is max out he/she will think its going to be a waste of elixir, upgrading this makes your town hall like a boss

6. Cannons!

The reason why I put this at the bottom is because the reality is no one is afraid even if your cannons are max out because there are more disadvantage of cannons than other defenses that’s why it’s better leave it to the last you know that already notice how you choose to attack not because of the cannons but because of other defenses right?

7. Bombs, Air seeking mine etc.

Putting this to the last is safe because it’s easy to detect if there's a bomb just put one barbs or archer and that's it bomb wasted, just remember to put two bombs together because it’s useless if you damage half of their life why? Archers tower can take out the archers and goblins in one hit so it’s going to be a waste of effort, unless if your cannon are close to it or your wizard tower

NOTE: following or upgrading this will not make your town hall invincible to even high level town halls but for me this is the best way to max out the usage of your defenses.

Town Hall 7: My nine strategies

When you reach town hall level 7 the real fight starts because every gold and elixir counts. A single mistake can cause a day of delay to build your defenses or anything that you have. that's why I’m here to teach you my strategy of how I was able to maximize all my resources, just follow or it’s up to you if you have a better idea just post it so I’ll know

But before I share you my winning strategy just remember that there is no perfect defense or strategy there are always flaws in every strategy in COC (that's why I still play this game)

1. Do not leave 600 thousand or more Gold!

Many clashers base their target by how full there gold storage so better spend it on upgrading walls than losing 70 up to 100 thousand gold. Many clashers just put there gold as display of how good they are at looting but do not follow them. Just spend it always

2. Focus on your defenders than the number of your trophy

There are lots of clashers who just want to show how plenty there trophy is but remember this winning strategy of all the strong players that at the end of the day it’s not about the trophy but your defense remember "trophy will follow with strong defense"

3. Use the town hall as a defense

don't put it on the center maximize your town hall by making it a defense (unless in your clan wars set up) you'll be getting a shield by this plus the chances of others stealing your gold and elixir storage increase by a little percent since your enemy's might focus on your town hall.

4. Use your gold mines and elixir mines as defense

putting your gold mines and elixir is good for protecting it so they can’t loot and even strong players do that but since your just starting out and if your someone who can check your COC anytime then better make it as your advantage by making close to your defense so that your defense can attack it already (again this is for level 7 town hall if your level 8 or 9 you have a different approach since the builders can take forever to build something you know what I mean)

5. Place your wizards’ tower close to your gold storage and not outside

It’s a giveaway storage if you let your wizard towers outside your walls, a combination of one Giant plus three archers can take away your wizards fast. Another reason why you should not put your wizards outside is the Goblins there very scary and a big threat if you enemy knows how to use them properly. During clan war I attack clans that are wizards expose and drop dragons I end up with three stars always. Last tip for wizard put an air mine near to it believe me it rocks.

6.  Make sure you max all barracks and army camps

While some clashers don't pay attention to this you should take advantage of maximizing your barracks because when you get higher level the chances of having a good loot is difficult so while you’re at level 7 its good you max it out already. Believe me when you reach level 8 it’s a different league.

7. Joined two bombs together and max them out

My reason why joined two small bombs is this (unless you have a mortar close you can just put one bomb) if someone raided you with archers or barbs the since your defenders can take them with one shot making there life half is useless right? That’s why it’s better joining two small bombs

8. Make sure filling up your castle with troops before leaving

During donations especially when I’m about to leave the game for a while i make sure that it’s filled with "at least" goblins why? Goblins are stronger than archers but still be grateful of anything you receive

9. Save Gems!

I saved the gems to the point I was able to buy 4 builders without paying anything! Just be patient don't spend it right now I’m happy with 4 builders.
